Fundamentals of Clinical Supervision Course

for Psychotherapists, Couple & Family Therapists and Social Workers interested in developing their supervision knowledge and skills

This 30 hour course will be taught virtually over five days from 9 am – 4 pm. 

Each day will include a mix of didactic presentation, interactional learning exercises, and large- and small-group discussion.

This course has been pre-approved by CACFT and is designed for professionals wishing to pursue their CACFT Supervisory Designation or to further develop their supervision skills. The course emphasizes the integration of supervision theory with selected supervision practice issues. It features a critical review of several major models of clinical supervision and a focus on facilitating the co-evolving supervision-therapy systems. Participants will develop and articulate a personal model of supervision. This course requires intense participation in a range of academic, interactive and reflective exercises designed for professional development.

This advanced clinical course is designed for experienced therapists who want to expand their practice to include training and supervising of other clinicians as they develop their skills in individual, couple and family therapy. 

Jennifer Myrie, DMin, RP, RMFT-S and Susan Winter Fledderus, RP, RMFT-SM, RSW will be the instructors for this course.
