Sharon is our Interim Clinical Director. A Registered Psychotherapist and Registered Marriage and Family Therapist, she brings a wide range of experience from her work of private practice, post- secondary institutions, community, and children’s mental health agencies within Christian and wider public settings.
Sharon has journey with individuals, couples, and families through many of the expected and unexpected transitions of the life. Her clinical work focuses on the search for hope and change through the healing power of being seen and heard. Currently, her clinical, supervisory and consultation practice has taken on a more overt advocacy stance in response to the cultural, societal, and emotional shifts that impact her clients.
Sharon completed undergraduate degrees in psychology and French at Carleton University, and she holds a Master of Divinity degree (Counselling focus) from Ontario Theological Seminary (now Tyndale). She finds joy in the small things: a healthy supply of fountain pens, fine stationery, lots of ink, French literature, cups of tea, and the simple pleasures of family, friendship and music.
