RE-create Art Studio had a fantastic art exhibit opening on Friday, June 12. “The Sights and Sounds of Where We Belong” was a project that stemmed from a research project where the youth identified places in Hamilton that they felt were welcoming and youth friendly and spaces that were not welcoming. This initial research was in partnership with the Resilience Research Centre, and Dr. Linda Liebenberg. RE-create is grateful to the Laidlaw Foundation for funding for “The Sights and Sounds of Where We Belong” project. Check out this link to read the full story in the Hamilton Spectator.
