Come, hear Andrew, a Pastor who originally worked among the poor of Hamilton. In September 1986, he held his first Sunday morning service. As a church he saw some success, after a number of years but it became obvious to them that they were not really penetrating and meeting the deeper needs that many people had. In the Fall of 2010, now living in Chatham-Kent Andrew learned about WrapAround. He saw the process that had resources and tools to make a difference in the lives of people. He saw that it empowered them, helped them achieve their goals and build a positive community around them. He will share how WrapAround has done this with the help of 27 churches in Chatham-Kent.
Shalem Mental Health-WrapAround Services in Hamilton has been working in Hamilton since the mid-90’s but now it is time to engage communities of faith, to take the journey with those in need in our City, using the wraparound process. Learn how wraparound can assist in pastoral care or outreach in Hamilton by becoming part of a community of practice with seasoned practitioners and training certification offered through Wrap Canada.
