Clinical Supervision

Clinical Supervision through Shalem Mental Health Network

At Shalem we deeply value professional growth and excellence. In addition to offering professional development opportunities, we are pleased to offer clinical supervision to therapists who are seeking it. We’d consider it a privilege to support you in your professional journey.

We are able to offer supervision for therapists pursuing registration with a professional association or college, including the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario, Canadian Association of Marriage and Family Therapy, Art Therapy, and Dyadic Developmental Psychotherapy (DDP). We offer supervision for a range of psychotherapy models, including Narrative, CBT, DDP and others.

Fees

Our current supervision fee is $110/hour, and prorated for extended meeting times.

Location

We offer supervision at our head office in Hamilton, 875 Main Street East, Hamilton, Ontario.

Form

Meetings are generally done in person, and can include video or audio presentations of cases. Supervision sessions can also be done individually or in dyads. These details are all negotiated as part of the agreement formed between you and your supervisor at the outset of meetings. Please bring your questions and professional goals with you to your first meeting.

Group Supervision

We offer group supervision opportunities based on demand. If you are interested in participating in a group setting, please contact us to discuss what is currently available.

Contact

You are free to contact a supervisor directly. They may ask you to book subsequent meetings through the front office.
