On October 27 staff members Mark Vander Vennen and Anne Martin will co-present with Bruce Schenk, Director of the International Institute for Restorative Practices—Canada, a workshop called “Fostering Restorative Workplaces: A Framework Approach”, at the 17th World Conference of the International Institute of Restorative Practices in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania.
On October 24 Mark Vander Vennen participated on a panel entitled “Healthy Schools: A Panel Discussion on Mental Health Issues in Christian Schools at the Edifide Teacher’s Convention (http://www.ocsta.org/educators-convention-2014/), held at Redeemer University College in Ancaster, Ontario.

Susan Winter Fledderus will be presenting at the Annual Day of Encouragement, hosted by Diaconal Ministries on Saturday, October 18, 2014. Susan’s workshop is titled “When Marriages Fall Apart”. At this workshop, we will explore how to minister to couples with relationship troubles, creating space for them to seek help. We will also discuss how we can journey with families experiencing separation or divorce, and respond to each family members’ needs.
